About Toshiko Barrett

Toshiko Barrett was born in Takamatsu City, Kagawa, Japan. She received her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance & Music Education from Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo, where she studied piano with Dr. Vladimir Takenouchi.  

Over 25 years of experience in teaching piano, she has lived in several different states in the U.S., such as Hawaii, Virginia, and currently resides in Carlsbad, California as an active piano teacher, member of Music Teachers Association of California, and National Guild.
